Richard Angelo RunfolaFor the month of September, the Buffalo Big Print Art Gallery will be featuring a collection of paint & resin works by local artist Richard Angelo Runfola. Richard Angelo Runfola is a Buffalo native who grew up in East Amherst, NY and attended Williamsville East High School. He has spent his last four years at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and just received his Bachelors of Arts in Architectural Studies with a minor in Art History. He has recently been admitted into the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning and will be entering the 3.5 year Master of Architecture program. As of late, he has been feverishly creating art and exploring his artistic process at his Williamsville residence. His art is greatly inspired by nature, space, and the concept of going with the flow as he adapts to the unexpected elements of his craft. Exhibition on display through September 30th.
Michael AndriaccioOctober 6th (6-9pm) the BBP gallery will feature paintings by Buffalo-based touring and recording artist, Michael Andriaccio.
After a painting hiatus of over forty years to focus on his musical career, Michael Andriaccio shows his other, graphically creative side. This one-man show presents paintings he has completed in the last three years. His works are colorful and expressionistic while firmly based in compositional integrity and rhythm.
Later in the month, date TBA, there will also be a special reception featuring Russian guitarist, Anton Baranov, First Prize winner of the 2016 Falletta Concerto Competition.
